In an effort to promote sustainability and promote the circular economy, Falabella Retail activates a new edition of its successful Feria Trueque, this time in Chillán. The event has captured the attention of conscious fashion lovers in the past four editions and, although traditionally all types of clothing can be worn, this time it will have a novelty: it will be a special denim.

“Circular fashion is an important pillar in our strategy as Falabella Retail and for this reason we wanted to extend this instance of exchange to regions so that our clients can participate in this circular economy fair,” comments Isabel Margarita Ibieta, Experiences Manager at Falabella Retail.

The activity will take place from March 14 to 17 on the second floor of the Falabella store in the Mall Arauco Chillán. During these days, participants will be able to bring up to five denim items, but items made of other materials will also be accepted, which will be classified by points (10, 20, 30 and 40) according to various criteria to facilitate exchange. Those garments that do not qualify for exchange can be deposited in recycling containers, a process that will be carried out by Rembre, while those garments that were at the fair, but did not find a new owner, will be donated to the Soymás Foundation.

Feria Trueque is part of the initiative “Give a second life to fashion” by Falabella Retail and is completely free, aiming to invite everyone to be part of a more sustainable, conscious future and giving a twist to the fashion industry .
