This Wednesday, May 25, around 1 p.m., a 44-year-old resident of Chézard-Saint-Martin lost his life in a logging accident in Chaumont, on the heights of Neuchâtel. The tragedy occurred on the Chemin de la Bécasse.
“Despite the care provided by the Neuchâtel SPS paramedics as well as the Smur doctor, the person unfortunately died at the scene of the accident, communicated the Neuchâtel police.
The prosecutor on duty went to the scene and opened an investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of this accident.
