A motorcyclist in his forties lost his life on Friday afternoon at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, during an event held there, said division prosecutor Gilles de Villers Grand Champs.
Friday and Saturday are the Bikers Days at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. It was in this context that a pilot from Verviers was the victim of a road trip and lost his life.
“According to initial information, the pilot is the only one involved in this accident. A forensic pathologist and an automobile expert were dispatched to the scene, ”said the division prosecutor, who did not have details as to the circumstances of the facts.
Contacted by us, the event organizer simply told us that it was an ordinary fall that went wrong. The victim was a motorcyclist in his forties who had some experience in the world of motorcycling. The man had already participated in several Bikers Days.
