Fernando Vivas: “Pedro Castillo is not capable of imposing a constituent assembly but he is capable of manipulating it” | VIDEO COLUMN | POLITICS

in your video column “Tell me another” this Tuesday, political analyst and journalist Fernando Vivas questions the president’s bill peter castle what seeks a constituent assembly to draft a new constitution.

MIRA: Unconstitutional and contradictory, this is how experts qualify the proposal for a constituent assembly | ANALYSIS

“Pedro Castillo has neither the capacity nor the real will to impose a constituent assembly, but he has the capacity to manipulate the opposition with it. He does not have popular support, he does not have support from Congress (…) it is like a gimmicky populist solution to an issue that he does not know how to handle (…) which is social conflict”, he expresses.

Vivas points out that the population needs a good government, not a constituent assembly, and maintains that Congress, in no way, should fall into the manipulation of the Government so as not to face social conflict and the fair demands of the population.

“A bad story that we assume will be closed this week to focus on the analysis of the impact of social conflicts, for which a forceful response is required,” insists Vivas.

The video column “Tell me another” is published on Tuesdays and Fridays.
