Jalaluddin Masharipov’s transfer deal from Saudi Al-Nassr to Al-Ahly was temporarily suspended during the current summer transfers.
A source from the Saudi victory – who asked not to be named – spoke to FilGoal.com today, Saturday, saying: “Masharepov’s representatives informed us that Al-Ahly stopped negotiations with them during the past hours, despite the existence of a prior agreement between the two clubs and the player, but there was a retreat from Al-Ahly.”
He continued, “The player’s representatives said that Al-Ahly did not close the door of negotiations, and the idea of completing the deal is still valid.”
Regarding the issue of the player’s suffering from an injury and his failure to pass the medical examination, he said: “The player is physically ready and does not suffer from any injuries until we say that he failed the medical examination.”
And he added, “How does the player suffer from an injury when he participated continuously last season, as well as the preparation camp with us?
We check our players on a regular basis.”
The source concluded his statements by saying: “We are waiting for any news, whether from Al-Ahly club or the player’s representatives, to decide his future before the end of the registration in Saudi Arabia.”
Registration expires in Saudi Arabia at the end of August.
