Al-Marsad newspaper: The prices of various types of iron recorded a collective increase on a monthly basis. In November, they ranged between 65 and 177 riyals per ton, compared to the decrease in the prices of most construction goods during the same period.
Iron price in november
According to “Al-Watan”, the latest data of the General Authority for Statistics, issued last December, showed an increase in the average price of a ton of iron 1.36%, equivalent to 90 riyals, during last November on a monthly basis, as the average price of a ton rose to 3526.94 riyals, compared to 3436.71 riyals in October 2021.
Iron collective rise
According to the newspaper, most types of iron recorded a price increase of 5.2% for a ton of national 8 mm rebar, reaching 3565.2 riyals in November, compared to 3,388.23 in October. Similarly, 10 mm national rebar, which recorded 3,572.05 riyals in November, compared to 3,398 riyals. 44 in October 2021. It also increased 12 mm national rebar to about 3313.9 riyals per ton, compared to 3,244.88 in October.
