A shopping basket made up only of private labels costs around 15% less in Belgium than in France, around 25% less than in Germany and around 40% less than in the Netherlands, according to the study. .

Note that alongside private label foods, the prices of identical branded products are however higher in Belgium than in neighboring countries, the study further highlights.
