Five dead, including a minor and three injured, leaves a fatal traffic accident recorded on the road Riohacha – Maicaoin La Guajira, after the collision of two vehicles trying to avoid a goat.

The three injured people were sent to various assistance centers in the municipality of Maicao, to receive medical care.
According to information confirmed by the commander of Police in La Guajira, Colonel Gabriel Garcia Arrieta, One of the possible causes of the accident is lane invasion by one of the vehicles trying to avoid a goat on the road.

The accident occurred at kilometer 55 in the four-way sector at around 12:07 noon this Sunday, and involves a white Mazda car with a pickup truck. Toyota copetran type black in color HBS 915 boards which collided head-on.
The deceased who died at the scene are: the driver of the Duvan Rafael Fuenmayor Medina, a 53-year-old Copetran-type van, of Venezuelan nationality, and Roberto Iguarán, who were traveling in the black Toyota brand HBS915 license plate van.
In this same vehicle were Delvis de Jesús Uriyu and Yenis Days Sipuana, who had various lacerations.
