Fleetwood Mac regains first place in De Tijdloze, Coldplay stunts from three to one in Q-top 1000 | Music

MusicIt happened: The Timeless of Studio Brussel has a winner. And that’s the same as last year. Fleetwood Mac’s ‘The Chain’ regains its place at the top of the list. A bigger surprise took place in the Q-top 1000. There ‘Viva la Vida’ by Coldplay replaced ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ in first place.

The Timeless

In De Tijdloze, ‘The Chain’ from 1977 takes first place for the second year in a row. But despite its age and popularity, the song has only been in De Tijdloze 100 for six years. With ‘Dreams’ (number 22), ‘Go your own way’ (number 36) and ‘Everywhere’ (number 49) the band is even with four songs in De Tijdloze 100.

Courtesy of the “Stranger Things” series, Kate Bush’s “Running up that hill” is the highest newcomer on the list. ‘Les yeux de ma mère’ by Arno (number 54), ‘Time’ by Pink Floyd (number 77) and ‘Cold little heart’ by Michael Kiwanuka (number 96) also appear in De Tijdloze 100 for the first time.
