The prosecution, who has been investigating the suspicion of money envelopes at the Democratic Party convention, is the key figure who was the first to secure new recruits, right?

The arrest warrant for Kang Rae-gu, a former standing auditor of the Water Resources Corporation, was dismissed by the court.

Prosecutors said former auditor Kang tried to destroy some evidence and needed arrest, but the court did not accept this claim.

The prosecution’s investigation, which had been speeding up after the sudden search and seizure, came to a halt after 10 days.

Reporter Jung Sang-bin reports.

″Thank you to the court for making a wise decision. That is all.”

After a 12-hour review, the court judged that former auditor Kang “difficult to conclude that he attempted to destroy evidence or persuaded others to make false statements.”

“Some of the evidence on the main charges has been gathered,” he added, “given what is to be further clarified, detention will overly limit the right of defense.”

A recording of the call was secured at the time of strong material evidence, but the person concerned is denying the content, so additional confirmation is needed.

Former Auditor Kang declined to comment on phone recordings or specific charges.

″……″

Prosecutors strongly objected.

The official position statement was also strong in tone, saying, “There is a situation in which the words were matched and conciliation was attempted, and substantial destruction of evidence also occurred.

As he is a key figure in the entire process of suspicion, the prosecution is actively considering re-applying for an arrest warrant, but the situation of destroying evidence and matching words needs to be strengthened.

Former Auditor Kang is known to be in the position of ″It was not that she did not respond to the search and seizure, but that the reporters kept calling and came to the house and could not be contacted, and that the phone calls with other people only shared the situation with each other.″

After a while, the contents of the Paris press conference by former Democratic Party leader Song Young-gil and the timing of Song’s return to Korea are expected to affect the direction of the prosecution’s investigation, such as re-applying for an arrest warrant.
