The social democratic politician Anna-Greta Leijon has died at the age of 84. This is reported by Aktuellt in Politiken.
Anna-Greta Leijon was born in 1939 in Södermalm and has lived in Kallhäll.
In 1970, she was elected to the county council for the Social Democrats and her political career took off.
Four years later, Leijon entered the Riksdag and has held several important positions: Minister of Immigration and Equality, Minister of the Labor Market and Minister of Justice.
Now she has died after a short illness, writes Current affairs in politics.
