Here are the patch notes for the new Fortnite update released today, January 20, 2022.
Yesterday saw the release of the 19.10 Fortnite update, which saw the return of Chapter 1’s favorite landing spot, Tilted Towers. We also have a new wild animal, the Klombo.
Players can jump on top of a Klombo and mount them, although you are likely to get shot as you will have no cover. You can feed them berries in order to get loot, or you can use the vent on top of its head to get away from a fight or head to the new circle faster.
Players are happy with the current state of the game, but as with some major Fortnite patch updates, they may introduce new bugs. While several major bugs have been fixed in the new update, a few more have been introduced.
In order to fix these bugs, Epic Games released another downloadable update, 3.43 on PS4 and PS5. It’s also rolled out to Android and Xbox consoles, and here’s what’s new.
What’s New in Fortnite Update 3.43 January 20, 2022
As expected, there is no new content in the 3.43 update. With a major patch only going live yesterday, there was no way there would be anything new added in today’s patch.
Today’s Fortnite update released on January 20, 2022 is a simple maintenance fix. The patch resolves stability issues related to version 19.10. Additionally, the issue with colorblind settings not being saved has also been fixed.
It was a problem on PC, but it was fixed without releasing any new files. However, new files have been rolled out to PS4, PS5, Android, and Xbox consoles. A patch for Nintendo Switch is expected to release at some point today to fix the issue on that platform.
