Vienna (OTS) – The EU is currently dealing with the guidelines and framework conditions for “artificial intelligence” (AI) – but ÖVP State Secretary Tursky also recently revealed his plans for this. He therefore advocates – like ÖVP National Council President Sobotka before him – for the approval of AI applications by a national approval authority. FPÖ technology spokesman NAbg. A clear legal framework would have to be created for the use of AI. At the same time, awareness of the risks involved in using ‘artificial intelligence’ instruments must be raised. It is the task of politics to create the appropriate regulations: “In the case of AI, too, the ultimate responsibility must lie with the person who uses these programs. Final decisions must always be made by people. Shifting responsibility to machines shouldn’t happen,” said Deimek.
