FPÖ child protection package is introduced in the National Council and is a acid test, especially for the ÖVP

Raab displaces the imported violence against women by foreign immigrants who bring their archaic and misogynistic worldview to our country. She obviously believes that a few value courses will do the trick. And instead of working intensively on measures to bring their own young people, returnees and older workers into the labor market, their main goal is obviously to offer asylum seekers, some of whom cannot read or write, an integrative all-round service for which the Taxpayers have to pay. “That is definitely the wrong setting of priorities, it is not in the interests of the Austrians, quite the opposite,” explained Ecker.
When it comes to the fully announced child care package – 4.5 billion euros, but until 2030, mind you – ÖVP Minister Raab remains vague: “’Must, should, will’: Austrians know all too well what to think of ÖVP announcements: There is Skepticism is appropriate. In any case, the government is failing to protect children from sexual abuse: “One cannot say that work is being carried out at ‘high pressure’ when the ÖVP and the Greens have already allowed months and months to pass between the announcement and possible implementation. We have now presented a comprehensive, liberal child protection package that clearly focuses on the victims and their needs resulting from this immense suffering! The perpetrators must feel the full force of the law – lifelong is not a taboo for us libertarians, quite the opposite. We will introduce the liberal child protection package in the National Council and anyone who is actually concerned about protecting our children from sexual abuse and drastic punishments for perpetrators will probably have to agree to our 12-point package of measures, the liberal ‘Fortress of Child Protection’. “This will be another acid test for the other factions, especially for the ÖVP,” emphasized Ecker.
