Population and dismissed employees have a right that the political responsibility for these machinations of the ÖVP is completely cleared up

Vienna (OTS) “The mass layoffs at Kika/Leiner never end, around 350 more employees and their families now have to pay the bill for this ÖVP clientele policy, which has resulted in a real black scandal – just like the taxpayers, to whom the ÖVP has given 150 million euros in tax deferrals , while Benko and Co. are said to have made a profit of 300 million euros according to experts. A committee of inquiry like the one we Liberals have been demanding for almost two months is therefore the order of the day to drain this swamp of ÖVP scandals!”, FPÖ Secretary General NAbg renewed today. Christian Hafenecker, MA his claim after media reports that other Kika/Leiner employees from the central administration and logistics were reported to the AMS for termination.

The judiciary must clarify whether the Kika/Leiner scandal led to a delay in insolvency or whether creditors were treated unequally. However, as the elected representative body of the people, Parliament must completely clarify the political responsibility that can be located in the area of the “black-turquoise boy party, which was always very close to René Benko”: “For us liberals it is clear that politics to those people who have now lost their jobs, as well as to all taxpayers who, after all, have to pay for the horrendous tax deferrals. You have a right to know how brazenly and ruthlessly the ÖVP drove at their own expense in favor of a black favorite!”

Hafenecker therefore renewed his invitation to the SPÖ to work with the Freedom Party to set up a corresponding committee of inquiry. “In this way, the Social Democrats could once again make a constructive political contribution in the interests of the population and take a step out of their current marginalization,” said the liberal Secretary General.
