Invited to participate in the latest episode of the podcast Seeds of hope by Maripier Morin and Angelo Rubino, the 77-year-old actress obviously tackled the theme of addictions, but more mainly the subject of the concept of “rigorous honesty”.

Resplendent, Castel charmed its guests with its tasty anecdotes and its interventions filled with wisdom.

First at 5:14 p.m., she holds back her tears and pauses as she recalls unpleasant memories that resurfaced after the birth of her daughter.

Then, a little later around 10:04 p.m., she changes her mood completely, once again, when she starts talking about her daughter.

“She too has serious problems. She doesn’t live here… but hey, everyone has their own way,” said Castel, visibly very moved, without specifying the nature of the problems experienced by his daughter.

The rest of the interview takes place without another moment of such intensity, but remains nevertheless very interesting, given France Castel’s path full of pitfalls.

“I work [encore] because I want to represent my age category”, she says towards the end. “I find it important that we exist.”

And there is no denying it: she does it admirably well.
