Freeform: How to Switch Between Drawing with Your Finger and Apple Pencil on iPad

2024-03-21 11:00:00

O Freeform is a fun and very useful way to create collaborative boards. For those who use it on the iPad together with the Apple Pencil, the experience with this app is even better — as you can use the more precise strokes of Apple’s digital pencil.

If you are a user of this combo, know that an adjustment allows you to switch between writing or drawing with your finger and with the Apple Pencil, depending on what you are doing at the time.

Check out how to do it! 🙂

With a board open in Freeform, tap the icon represented by a pencil to make the tool and color bar appear. Then, tap the button represented by three dots (inside the bar) and toggle the option on/off “Draw with your finger”.

Cool, right?! 📝
