The average prices of gasoline and the diesel for sale to the public will not rise in the month of March 2022, despite the increase in international prices the Petroleum that has been recorded in recent weeks as a result of the invasion of Russia a Ukraine.

Thus, for the third month of this year, the average sale price of gasoline in the 13 main cities of the country is located at $9,030 per gallon. For its part, the diesel in the 13 main cities of Colombia will be $8,868 per gallon.
“The average price of regular motor gasoline in the 13 main cities is still $140 per gallon below the price of March 2020 when the Ministry made the largest reduction in prices in history”, highlighted the Minminas.
Similarly, the average price of diesel in the 13 major cities is still $95 per gallon below the March 2020 price.

Fuel prices in Colombia complete three months of stability in 2022, due to the operation of the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund (Fepc).
Without the operation of the FEPC, so far in 2022, on average, in the 13 main cities, the price of regular motor gasoline would have been approximately $4,500 above the current median sales price, while the diesel would be $6,200 above of the registered selling price.
