Jetra Yatra followed by superstar films at the box office. The global collection of Rajinikanth film Jailer is approaching Rs 650 crore. Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 has entered the five hundred crore club. Even after three weeks of release, these films are still performing well at the box office.
Despite the HD print being leaked and the OTT release being announced, Jailer is still showing. The film has collected Rs 640 crores globally so far. The film collected 2.39 crores last Monday.
One more film is coming to strengthen the box office, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Atlee film Jawaan. The film is getting good pre-bookings. Analysts predict that the film will earn more than 100 crores on the first day itself.
The release of Jawaan will be a threat to Sunny Deol’s film, which earned more than two crores on the 25th day as well. ‘Gadar 2’ hit the screens on August 11. ‘Jailor’ hit the screens on August 10. Jawaan will hit the theaters on September 7. The film is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under the banner of Red Chillies. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara along with Shahrukh.
