Omen strings together models and complicated appellations, but offers rather solid products, and this model is no exception. This 15.6 inch is for demanding gamers, with few concessions and for less on Cdiscount.

Everyone has different gaming needs, and if yours is above average, this HP OMEN might be for you. Here we have a very classic size of 15.6 inches with rather thin borders, except on the bottom to raise the screen a little to eye level.

The design is very sober with a predominant black, but we still find the gaming inspiration with very angular corners. The weight is one of the things to know: almost 2.5 kg on the scale, so it’s a bit high but expected for this kind of target. Fortunately the components do honor to the volume.
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800H : this processor, launched in 2021, is still as efficient and is placed just below a Ryzen 9 5900HS. So it’s powerful enough for like 4K video editing. For reference, this Ryzen 7 is at the level of an i7-11900H.
- 16 Go to RAM : to be able to play and comfortably launch many applications, this is the minimum we ask for and it is enough to not have to worry about everything we open.
- RTX 3070 : this Nvidia graphics card is a safe bet to stay above 60 FPS in the vast majority of games. Unless you play Cyberpunk or other very demanding games, don’t worry about pushing the graphics to the maximum. The fans get quite noisy and noise canceling headphones are needed.
- 512 Go de stockage SSD M.2 PCle : it’s not huge but it’s enough to download lots of games and files without feeling too cramped.
