The new 3M Neo home trainer promises to combine the freedom of movement of the bike with exclusive Tacx technology to offer users a more realistic experience than ever.
Garmin unveils the Tacx Neo 3M, a precise and powerful direct-mount home trainer, with multi-directional freedom of movement for more realism. It also relies on an innovative electromagnetic motor braking system which thus offers a virtual flywheel which reproduces the sensations of various types of surfaces and even simulates descents.
The machine also integrates seamlessly with the Tacx Training app to allow you to follow training programs synced from your Garmin Connect calendar, participate in virtual group rides, train with WorldTour professionals and enjoy immersive videos of the most beautiful routes and sites around the world.

The main functions of the Tacx Neo 3M
• Multidirectional movements : THE motions plates The built-in flexes complement the trainer’s natural lateral flexion by adding back and forth movements, allowing users to ride in a more natural position. THE motion plates can even be activated or deactivated as needed.
• Realistic feelings : The virtual flywheel simulates the feeling of pedaling on different types of road, such as cobblestones and gravel, to allow training on a multitude of terrains.
• Application integration : in addition to the integration with the Tacx Training app, it is possible to connect to other training platforms, such as TrainerRoad and Zwift, and automatically transfer activity data to the Garmin Connect app .
• Slope simulation : Users can train on realistically simulated slopes of up to 25% elevation, and experience the downhill simulator.
• Power accuracy : Performance measurements, including power, speed and cadence, are accurate to within 1% across a wider power range to meet the demands of riders of all levels.

The 3M Tacx Neo is operational right out of the box, equipped with a pre-installed 11-speed cassette. A surprising choice, then all the new transmissions on the market are 12 speeds. Integrating the device into the Tacx Training app is quick and no calibration is necessary.
