A 22-year-old native of Omsk was arrested for attacking furry fans in Priory Park in Gatchina. This was reported to Fontanka on August 19 in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
A pneumatic pistol and fragments of an airsoft grenade were confiscated from the young man. Two victims sought medical attention.
“The violator was taken to the police department, a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up against him under Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (petty hooliganism).
Police officers are checking, the issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided, ”the police headquarters added.
Earlier, Fontanka published footage of the arrest of the attacker. He came to the announced gathering in the Gatchina park, threw an airsoft grenade at the furry fans, and when they chased him, he started shooting from an air pistol.
