WHAT HAPPENED? In an interview with Love and Fire, Gian Piero Diaz was consulted about the ‘fight’ with Renzo Schuller, which caused them both to walk away. The driver explained that they formed a beautiful friendship and that they even related to their families.

“Out of respect for that beautiful friendship, out of respect for the love that I not only have for him but for his family and everyone around him (Rodrigo: Are you the godfather of one of his children?) No, but we have had a close relationship”said.
Precisely because of this link, Gian Piero avoided talking about the reason for their fight. “Out of respect for that and because I think that at some point this is going to be solved, over time, I’m not going to comment ” he added.
Gian Piero wants to make friends with Renzo Schuller
However, Peluchín questioned again if the reason for their estrangement had not been something strong, to which Gian Piero said that at no time was there an act of evil between them and that precisely for this reason he hopes that both resume their friendship.
“(Q: Would you make friends with Renzo again?) Damn, there has never been between the two, therefore, there is no reason why we can not talk at some point”, he remarked.

After the entry of Gian Piero Díaz as EEG host, it was speculated that this was the main reason for his estrangement, since Schuller indicated that his former partner would never have told him that he would join the famous reality show, which was his main competition.

Renzo Schuller and Gian Piero Díaz headed one of the most tuned-in programs on Peruvian television, Combate. The competition space remained on the air for 7 years and 6 months.
Combate came to an end on December 28, 2018, but the reason for its cancellation was not announced; however, in May 2022, Renzo Schuller confirmed that the program was canceled because Esto es Guerra surpassed them in rating and they could not stay on the air due to lack of budget.
