It was Renofolie Tuesday morning in Carleton-sur-Mer following the publication of the autobiography of the one who has marked the hearts of Quebecers for more than sixty years.
Autobiography and album in hand, many people rushed to the Jean Coutu pharmacy to have the chance to meet the legendary Ginette Reno.
“They tell me how much the book makes them feel good. Someone earlier told me that she had read the book twice and that she was going to read it again. It did me a lot of good, ”says the 77-year-old singer.
An admirer from Atholville gave Ginette Reno the novel she wrote.
“It’s to say thank you and I said thank you for everything. Ginette has been part of my life since I was a little girl, it’s really a great moment for me, I’m really moved.
“I am very touched. These are things that come to me a lot. People are nice to me, ”says the one who has accumulated success for the past six decades.
