Moments of tension in the Chamber during the reply of the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, in view of the European Council of 21 and 22 March. What triggered the opposition’s protests was a phrase from the prime minister: “Guys, I see you are nervous”. This was enough to trigger protests because the opposition MPs didn’t like that term. The Prime Minister’s reply was ready: “Okay, I won’t call you boys but honorable young people, or rather just honourable. It’s clear that you don’t particularly like me, but we Romans sometimes say it guys, I apologize anyway”.
