Golden visa for imams announced in Dubai Imams, Mu’addin and Islamic preachers who have completed 20 years of service will be issued a 10-year visa.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, announced the golden visa for the imams ahead of Eid al – Fitr. Many Malayalee scholars working under the Awqaf in Dubai will also benefit from this. The Golden Visa is issued to Imams, Mu’addins and Islamic preachers who have been in the job for 20 years. Special bonuses and prizes have been announced for them in celebration of the festival.

In addition to promoting Islamic values, they will be rewarded for their contributions to the promotion of tolerant values. The announcement is also a tribute to those who have worked in Dubai’s churches for years.
