Vienna (OTS) – Even if everyone officially denies it: the election campaign is on! One year before the scheduled National Council elections, the ÖVP under Chancellor Karl Nehammer is launching the “Believe in Austria” initiative. And Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler responds with a “Let’s talk!” tour. But shouldn’t the government invest its energy in more important, outstanding projects? At least that’s what Peter Klien asks himself with his usual satirical look in “Good Night Austria” on Friday, September 29th, 2023, at 11:25 p.m. on ORF 1.

FPÖ leader Herbert Kickl had to contend with a different kind of foreign problem this week: a small delegation of FPÖ members, led by Andreas Mölzer, set out to meet the Taliban in Afghanistan. Peter Klien is not the only one who asks himself why.
