Gordon has already stopped his musical comeback. The singer cancels his theater tour and will not further promote his album, released last week. The reason for this is the “incessant stream of negative reporting”.
“After reconsideration, Gordon has decided to end his (promotional) work regarding his album and his theater tour,” said a statement on Instagram. The statement can no longer be read because Gordon has deleted his Instagram account. The singer is touched by the negative reactions he has received.
Gordon was the subject of discussion on talk shows and entertainment programs last week after an impure performance at his album presentation. There was also speculation about disappointing ticket sales for the theater show.
The 55-year-old Gordon recently released a new album after eight years. “Of Album of my Life I left behind a beautiful last album that I am very proud of,” says the singer. He thanks the people who did buy a ticket for his performances.
