He National Meteorological Service (SMN) issued a new yellow alert for wind for much of the center – south of Neuquén and the west of Río Negro. Likewise, a warning applies for heavy rains in the northern Patagonian mountain range. Here we show you the forecast in detail for this Wednesday.
Yellow alert for wind in Neuquén and Río Negro
In Río Negro, the areas reached will be the departments of Pilcaniyeu – Ñorquincó – Nueve de Julio – West of El Cuy – Veinticinco de Mayo and Bariloche.
In Neuquén, the departments will be affected Los Lagos – Huiliches – Lácar – Aluminé – Los Lagos – Catán Lil – Collón Curá and Zapala.
In these sectors, winds from the west are expected, with speeds between 45 and 65 km/h and gusts that can exceed 100 km/h. The warning applies for Wednesday afternoon.
Yellow alert for rains in Neuquén and Río Negro
A rain alert is also in effect for this Wednesday, that reaches the Andean zone of Río Negro, precisely to the Bariloche department. In Neuquén, will affect the Los Lagos departmentwhere Villa La Angostura is located.
The phenomenon will occur during the afternoon, with locally heavy rainfall and accumulated values of between 20 and 40 millimeters, which may be exceeded occasionally.
