Mick Schumacher has been informed by the Haas F1 team to quit donuts after the F1 Abu Dhabi GP race.
The Haas F1 team has decided to use Nico Hulkenberg for 2023, making it Mick Schumacher’s last race with the team.
Mick Schumacher contacted Nicholas Latifi during the F1 Abu Dhabi GP race and both cars spun. Latifi hit the barrier and eventually retired. Schumacher was handed a five time penalty for the incident.
Nicholas Latifi was unable to complete the race, but Mick Schumacher was able to complete the race and chose to show off the donuts following the checkered flag.
However, Mick Schumacher was soon scolded by the Haas F1 team.
“Mick, I’m sorry, but please don’t eat donuts. seriously. I’m sorry, but I can’t let you do it,’ said Norio Komatsu, the engineering director of the Haas F1 team.
Mick Schumacher then stopped Donut and returned to the pitlane.
Some questioned the feud with the team after not only the seat but also the donut was stolen, but the smaller team is gearing up as the F1 team remains at the Yas Marina circuit for post-season testing on Tuesday. It seems that the reason is that the box and other parts cannot be broken.
Mick Schumacher’s F1 plans for 2023 have yet to be confirmed, but it is rumored that he will become a reserve driver for the Mercedes F1 team.
