Haj Pilgrimage: Saudi Arabia will not allow more people after paying the fee

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia says that it is not possible to add companions for Hajj after paying the fee. Ministry of Hajj and Umrah informed about this. The ministry has issued a directive to the domestic pilgrims who are accompanied by another person for assistance due to elderly parents, small children, physical disability etc. before paying the fee.

In this regard, the rules related to foreign Hajj pilgrims will be decided by the Hajj Committee of the respective countries. Only those who have a Hajj visa or Saudi residence visa are allowed to perform Hajj domestically. Yesterday, Saudi Arabia started the registration process for domestic pilgrims for the Haj pilgrimage. Registration applications from domestic pilgrims can be submitted through the Ministry of Hajj website or through the Nusuk app. The ministry also explained that four pilgrimage packages have been prepared for domestic pilgrims.

The first package is charged from 10,596 to 11,841 Riyals and the second package is charged from 8,092 to 8,458 Riyals. The third package costs 13,150 riyals and the fourth package costs 3,984 riyals. These amounts can be paid in one lump sum or in three installments. The opportunity to submit this registration application is given to those who have reached the age of twelve years. ID documents (residency ID for expats) valid till mid-July are mandatory for applicants. The ministry added that priority will be given to those who have not performed Haj before.
