Today is the first big update of Dreamlight Valley arrives, after several bug fixes for the game in early access. The Halloween update notably contains the villainous lion Scar.

In this update, the sunny plateau savannah is in danger! To restore the Pillar of Healing, you’ll need to team up with Scar, who you’ll find in a cave in the area reminiscent of the Elephant Graveyard, and descend into the mines of the plateau. To access this new quest, you must of course have unlocked the biome in question, but also have completed the curse quest during which you repair the pillars of friendship, courage, confidence and power.

A new way of the stars is finally available, with new missions. At the end of October, the unlockables are of course Halloween-themed, but also Disney villains. New Halloween items will also appear in Scrooge’s Store and in the crafting list.
The update also contains numerous fixes and improvements to the game, including stability and performance on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, spawn rates for wild crops like mushrooms, and rain that will now water gardens well. The full list of update content is available at the official site of the game.
The next game update is scheduled for late fall and will add a world and characters fromtoy story.
