Harmanpreet Kaur Overtakes Mithali Raj

Mumbai: Captain Harmanpreet Kaur holds the record for most runs scored for India in the Women’s T20. Harmanpreet has surpassed the record set by former India captain Mithali Raj, who retired from international cricket a few days ago.

Harmanpreet Kaur achieved this feat during the second T20 match against Sri Lanka. Harmanpreet Kaur, who scored 31 not out, was instrumental in India’s victory.

Currently, Harmanpreet Kaur has scored 2372 runs from 123 matches. Mithali has scored 2364 runs in 89 T20 matches.

Smriti Mandhana (2011) and Jemima Rodriguez (1094) are third and fourth respectively.
