PRINCE Harry and his wife, actress Meghan Markle, are working on two nonfiction series with Netflix. A lifestyle program and professional polo show, their production company announced Thursday.
The couple, who split with the British monarchy in 2020 and now live in California, signed a deal with the same streaming giant that same year for several projects.
So far, the partnership has produced the much-talked-about “Harry & Meghan,” a six-episode documentary series launching in December 2022.
These new projects appear to be much less controversial.
The first, “curated by Meghan… will celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining and friendship,” Archewell Productions said in a statement.
Just last month, she launched lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.

“The second series will give viewers unrivaled access to the world of professional polo,” the statement said. Harry is a long-time polo fan.
The main episodes have been filmed at the US Polo Championships in Florida.
“Known primarily for its aesthetic and social atmosphere, the series will reveal the gritty and passionate side of the sport, capturing the players and everything it takes to compete at the highest level,” Archewell’s statement said.

Both shows are still in the early production stages, and titles and release dates will be announced “in the coming months,” the statement said.
Since they stepped back from their official royal duties, the Prince and Princess of Sussex have been cut off from the monarchy’s money, forcing them to develop their own sources of income.
The couple, who married in 2018, had an exclusive Spotify podcast deal, which ended last year after just one show.

They are now estranged from the royal family, after they expressed repeated complaints that Meghan, who has mixed heritage, was treated unfairly during their time as royals.
Harry briefly went to the United Kingdom for the coronation of his father King Charles III, and again after the king was diagnosed with cancer.
That said, Harry has not spoken to his brother William in recent months. When news broke that William’s wife Kate was also battling cancer, Harry and Meghan said: “We wish Kate and the family good health and recovery.” (AFP/Z-3)
