Riyadh: Change in school hours in Riyadh and Jeddah. The action is following the extreme heat. The Department of Education has directed that students arrive at the school assembly at 6.15 in Riyadh and 6.45 in Jeddah. In both cases, classes will begin 15 minutes after the assembly, officials said.
