We believe we are paying homage to you when we say to you: ‘You are still beautiful’. But I’m beautiful, even if I don’t have the same beauty as when I was 12. We are sent back to a fear of age. Yes, age is scary but the resistance to this social pressure is to be flamboyant as men do“, argues the actress, formerly in a relationship with Philippe Katherine. And this difference often made between the beauty of men and that of women is a point that challenges her a lot.
“In the privacy, they are sad to lose their hair, to gain belly but they are devoted in one of the magazines by talking about their charm. We have to have the same attitude until this question of the age of women is no longer a debate“, she asserts. Did she raise her own son with this in mind? However, she confided in her way of raising her child, born when she was 22: “Everything was very instinctive with Tanel. I experimented a lot and the child did not weigh on me as it can happen later. I was so young… It was like having a little brother, I took him everywhere, she remembered. This is the reason why he is very free. I raised her alone, so I made her a very independent person.“
