Hello Games’ next project would be impossible even for 1,000 developers | Xbox One

While the latest update of No Man’s Skynamed Outlaws, released this Wednesday, the game’s co-creator Sean Murray spoke about Hello Games’ next project. The Brits at Hello Games have earned a stellar reputation for their impressive follow-up work on No Man’s Sky since 2016 and they’re already eyeing the sequel.

A “rather ambitious” project that seems “impossible” even for 1,000 developers

Sean Murray, general manager of Hello Games therefore spoke to our colleagues at IGN during an interview. Murray has no trouble expressing his motivation and his desire to do well like last february speaking of the massive content coming to No Man’s Sky. Today, it is the future of Hello Games which has been mentioned and in particular their next project which would not be a sequel to No Man’s Sky.

“We’ve been working on something quite ambitious in the background for a while now. It’s a small team, but that’s what we like. Like No Man’s Sky, it’s the kind of project that, even if a thousand people worked on it, would still seem impossible. »

An ambitious, but hardly surprising statement coming from Sean Murray. This new project would only be in development since September 2021, but it would not interfere with the follow-up to No Man’s Sky. Hello Games has undoubtedly taken a lot of experience during the No Man’s Sky adventure which has been a real obstacle course since 2016. It is hoped that their next game will have a better launch from the start.

In the meantime, No Man’s Sky is still available with all of its updates in the Xbox Game Pass and is getting a next-gen update for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The game is coming to Nintendo Switch this summer.
