The Alliance of writers of Morocco unveiled, Saturday, January 8, the list of works nominated for the first edition of the “Maghrebian writer’s prize” named following the late Touria Lihi.
Out of 522 works received by the League from the different regions of the Kingdom, from the five Maghreb countries and Moroccan women from all over the world, 62 productions, all categories combined, were selected for the “Maghrebian writer’s prize” which will be presented at the jury comprising members of the Council of Elders of the League, as the Alliance of writers of Morocco informed in a press release.
Dans cette liste, des œuvres soumises par les écrivaines marocaines Asmaa Al-Maaloumi, Asmaa Hayan, Saadia Ibn Mahmoud, Oumama Queziz, Balqis El Kebsi, Bahija Ben Ahmadi, Haddoum Bouchareb, Hassania Derkaoui, Hafida El Fayez- Al Fayez, Hafida Bouchareb Nozhi, Hanane Ayach et Hayat Haboul, Khadija El-Derbaki, Khadija Waqar, Zahra Amhou, Soukaina Maimouni, Salima Ben Ahmed, Souhaila Massa, Safaa Boujmil, Aisha Tahiri, Rania Al-Zoubairi, et Rihan Al-Zoubairi.
The prize for this first edition will be awarded on March 9 on the occasion of the National Day of the Woman Writers.
