The former Minister of Health, Dr. Hamad Hassan, paid a friendly visit to the Al-Mashreq Medical Diagnostic Center (MDC) in Tyre, where he was received by the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Khalil Al-Husseini, the Head of the Laboratory Department, Dr. Taher Fardoun, and a number of the center’s administrators and employees.
During the tour of the laboratory section, Dr. Taher Fardoun gave a detailed presentation to Minister Hassan (who is, by the way, a laboratory doctor) about all laboratory departments and equipment, as well as work systems and quality methods used.
In turn, Dr. Al-Husseini gave Minister Hassan a detailed explanation about the center, especially the radiology department and its modern medical equipment, in addition to a tour of the nuclear imaging department (pet scan) and what constitutes an important medical addition in the south.
For his part, Minister Hassan praised the MDC and the work of its medical staff, expressing great admiration and wishing success and lasting success.
