Beirut – Agencies:

The Israeli army announced that it had targeted a Hezbollah military compound in the town of Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon. While his spokesman added in a statement, that several firing operations were observed towards Arab Al-Aramsha in northern Israel, and the army attacked the sources of the fire.

Earlier Wednesday, the Israeli ambulance announced that 6 people were injured, one of them in critical condition, as a result of a strike that hit a building in Arab Al-Aramsha in northern Israel, according to official television.

The television did not provide other details, but local media confirmed that 5 missiles had penetrated the airspace in Western Galilee, confirming that one of them had fallen in Arab Al-Aramsha.

This came following the Lebanese Hezbollah announced earlier yesterday that it had carried out five operations targeting military sites in northern Israel, including the air control unit at the Meron base, with guided missiles, announcing that its equipment had been hit and destroyed.

These developments come a few hours following the announcement of the killing of 3 Lebanese Hezbollah members, including a leader, in Israeli raids in southern Lebanon, on Tuesday.

It is noteworthy that since the outbreak of war in the Gaza Strip between Israel and Hamas on the seventh of last October, the Lebanese-Israeli border has witnessed exchange of bombing on an almost daily basis between Hezbollah and the Israeli army.
