At the meeting that took place on Thursday, Raúl Ferrara, national director of labor relations and regulations, and a team of technical advisors from the National Ministry of Labor were present. On the part of the union, the secretary General Manuel Arévalo was accompanied by legal advisors Julio Tarifa and Juan Pablo Capón.
Another of the topics addressed was the implementation of the “1 by 1” diagram for oil tankers that remain in the fields. and that “they must have the right compensatory rest after the work day,” the union said.
Arévalo said that the presentation of the claims was made “in the face of the repeated and systematic refusal on the part of the production operators and some services such as Schlumberger, Halliburton, Weatherford among others, which with different items intend to compensate for the payment of overtime.
Next week there will be a second meeting between the joint commission and legal advisors of the Hierarchical Oil Tankers Union, with the technical team of the Ministry of Labor of the Nation.
