Denver (AP) – Ice hockey professional Nico Sturm is moving from the Minnesota Wild to the Colorado Avalanche within the NHL. As the Denver club announced, the 26-year-old from Augsburg is coming to Colorado in exchange for Tyson Jost.
Sturm played in Minnesota for two and a half years and made 111 appearances in the strongest league in the world during this time. Born in Bavaria, he has 17 points (nine goals, eight assists) in 53 games this season.
