Hong Kong has ordered a disciplinary examination of 13 high-ranking officials after attending a ‘birthday party’ with someone infected with coronavirus.

Carrie Lam, Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Ordered a disciplinary investigation of 13 senior officials who attended a party celebrating the birthday of a representative of the National People’s Congress. It was later found that two guests at the event tested positive for COVID-19.
