Hospitalizations up by 64 patients in Quebec

Quebec has 2,102 hospitalized people declared positive for COVID-19, including 55 patients in intensive care. The latest report from the province also reports 19 additional deaths.

– 16,088 deaths (+19)

– 4,343 healthcare workers absent for COVID-related reasons

– 2102 people hospitalized (+64)

– 55 people in intensive care (-3)

– 13,647 samples taken on August 8

– 273,877 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 229,070 positive: 257 declared for the day yesterday, including 217 positive.

– 8,463 doses administered are added, for a total of 20,412,093 doses administered in Quebec.
