Upon entering his hotel room, the client immediately realized that something was wrong. And for good reason, a smell of putrefaction immediately took him to the nose. He did try to sleep there, as the BBC reports, but after three hours on his bed, he had no choice but to leave the room.
Returning later to his room, the smell still hadn’t gone away and he reported it to the staff at the facility. If he was able to be accommodated in another room, he did not expect the horror that lay behind the stench. Called on the spot, the police indeed discovered a corpse under the bed.
When questioned, the customer in question was not arrested but another suspect was apprehended by the police.
