At the 102nd National High School Rugby Tournament held at Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Higashiosaka City, the quarter-final combination lottery was held on January 1 after the 3rd round, and the best 8 match cards were decided.

Hotoku Gakuen High School (Hyogo), aiming for the fourth high school triple crown in history, will play against the previous year’s champion Tokai University Osaka Gyosei High School (Osaka No. 3).
Higashi Fukuoka High School, which was the same A seed as Hotoku Gakuen and declined the final due to the influence of the new coronavirus in the spring selection tournament, will collide with Saga Prefectural Saga Technical High School of the same Kyushu group in the quarterfinals.
Osaka Toin High School (Osaka 2nd), aiming to become the best in Japan for the first time in four seasons, clashes with Kyoto Seisho High School, who are also in the Kinki region.
And Tenri High School (Nara), who advanced to the quarterfinals on the 64th big stage for the first time in four tournaments, was decided to face Nagasaki Prefectural Nagasaki Hokuyodai High School, who entered the quarterfinals for the second consecutive season.
