It was a very unpleasant surprise that Tamara had when going to her van in Ghent. When she arrived at work, the Belgian wanted to check the equipment in the trunk of her van, but she quickly realized that something was wrong. “I suddenly saw a small hole in the body of my vehicle,” she explains in the columns of Nieuwsblad.
Tamara quickly realized that she had been stolen. “Thieves entered my car through this hole and stole my equipment,” she laments. In total, the loss is estimated at nearly 10,000 euros! “The coffee machine alone cost 8,000 euros and they took other items with them,” confides Tamara. “And because they were afraid of being filmed, they also stole my doorbell,” she adds.

The thieves even took care to take Tamara’s neighbors’ doorbell before leaving. “They probably thought it was one of those smart doorbells with a camera and were probably afraid of being recognized,” says the Belgian.
In the meantime, Tamara will report the incident to the police and asks any witnesses to contact her. “If you want to know more, you can always send me a message,” she explains. “I also want to warn people. The hole was very subtle,” she concludes.
