High Definition enthusiasts will regret that the panel adopts a classic 1600×900 definition lower than Full HD. Its 16:9 format is however very well suited to playing videos and it displays more faithful colors than the average without however reaching the fidelity of high-end IPS panels. Thanks to its anti-reflective treatment, the screen is in any case less tiring for the eyes over a long period of time than a shiny panel and more readable in a bright environment (eg outside).

The HP 17-cn0319nf is a thin and light full-size laptop for everyday general purpose use.
Built around a low-power Intel Tiger Lake Quad Core i5-1135G7 processor and 8 GB of RAM, it delivers good general performance that is suitable for many users.
Including those who want to watch photos and videos or indulge in modest games. Because the Quad Core i5 directly integrates the graphics solution Iris Xe (which we tested)equivalent to an entry-level dedicated graphics card.
As a bonus, the heart is supported on a daily basis by SSD storage which clearly enhances responsiveness and fluidity compared to a simple hard drive.
It must be said that an SSD is much faster. It also offers other advantages such as quiet operation, lower energy consumption and greater robustness.
With its 512 GB, the SSD integrated here offers a capacity in line with the standard of hard disks.
However, if you need more space, you can use an external storage unit. Opting for a USB 3.0 / USB-C device then represents an interesting solution to benefit from fast transfers.
As for autonomy, count on about 7 hours on battery in light use for this computer so thin and light for a 17 inch that it is positioned in the clan of Ultrabooks.
That being said, by nature, a laptop PC adopting this large format is not the most easily transportable. But it is comfortable for mainly sedentary use (eg at home).
