“Human Resources and Emiratisation” reorganizes the membership of the “Emiratization Partners Club”

His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdul-Mannan Al-Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, issued Ministerial Resolution No. 258 of 2022 regarding the reorganization of the criteria of the “Emiratization Partners Club”, according to which it specified the criteria, conditions and procedures for affiliation with the club.

The club is one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, as it aims to raise Emiratisation rates in private sector facilities in line with the government’s objectives and motivate strategic partners to formulate policies to contribute to improving the participation of Emirati cadres in the private sector, in addition to motivating companies to join the “Nafis” program and other government initiatives. and contribute to its activation.

According to the decision, the three previous categories of membership of the “Localization Partners Club”, which are silver, gold, and platinum, were replaced with one membership.

In accordance with the new criteria stipulated by the resolution, establishments classified in the first category within the “Establishments Classification System” are granted membership if they meet one of two criteria: raising the Emiratisation rates annually at a rate of no less than three times above the target so that the number of appointed citizens is not less than 30 additional citizens, while Another criterion, in cooperation with the Emirati Competitiveness Council “Nafis”, is the recruitment and training of at least 500 nationals annually.

Her Excellency Farida Al Ali, Assistant Undersecretary for the Employment of National Human Resources, said that the ministerial decision came in line with a set of decisions recently adopted by the Council of Ministers regarding raising Emiratisation rates in the private sector and motivating companies that achieve qualitative achievements in training and employing citizens, which contributes to achieving the council’s competitive goals. Emirati cadres.

She stressed the importance of the club as it constitutes one of the most prominent forms of partnership between the public and private sectors, as it is a platform for consultation and exchange of experiences, expertise and practices in the training and employment of Emirati cadres in the private sector, which provides various job opportunities thanks to the economic growth experienced by the country.

The Ministry will periodically inspect the facilities that are members of the club, so that the membership of any facility proven to be non-compliant with the aforementioned two standards will be cancelled.
