Al-Marsad Newspaper: Eyewitnesses revealed the details of the last moments in the incident of burning a citizen’s vehicle while he was inside it, and the perpetrator’s escape, leaving the victim fighting fire, which led to his death, inside parking lots in the southern housing in Jeddah Governorate.
According to “Okaz”, the witnesses reported that the incident took place in a parking lot under a building, after the victim stopped his car and the perpetrator came to the site under the pretext of discussing his victim in a matter of a previous dispute.
Witnesses added that the victim gathered his strength and got out of his car with severe burns, and asked for his help in calling the ambulance, followed by asking the perpetrator, “I am what I did.” Attempts to save his life failed, and he breathed from his severe burns.
For his part, the victim’s father demanded that the perpetrator be severely punished, pointing out that there were accomplices with him.
It is noteworthy that the Jeddah Governorate Police announced the arrest of the perpetrator, and that the inference procedures showed the existence of a previous dispute between the two parties, and he was arrested and regular measures were taken against him and referred him to the Public Prosecution.
Informed sources revealed that the victim was an employee of Saudi Airlines. And that his car, in which he was inside, was set on fire with petrol, by pouring it on the vehicle and igniting it by four people due to personal disputes between them.
